Experimental study on dynamic properties of pure cement soil and fiber reinforced cement soil

Cement soil in Wenzhou area was tested by dynamic triaxial apparatus. The research results show that the dynamic stress-strain curves and the dynamic elastic modulus-strain curves of soil cement samples are hyperbolic. The cement content has the most significant influence on the dynamic stress of cement soil. The influences of cement content,fiber content and dynamic load frequency on the dynamic elastic modulus of cement soil are very obvious. With the increase of cement content and dynamic load frequency,the dynamic strain of cement soil samples at failure are obviously reduced. With the increase of fiber content,the dynamic strain of cement soil samples at failure are obviously increased,indicating that appropriate amount of mixed fiber can improve the plasticity of cement soil. When the stress level exceeds the critical dynamic stress of cement soil,the plastic deformation of cement soil increases sharply until the soil failure,so in engineering design,the total stress of the upper structure should be controlled within the critical stress of the reinforced soil,and the frequency of the load should not be similar to that of the cement soil.
