PERFORMANCE OF CuCr/CH 3ONa CATALYST SYSTEM FOR LOW TEMPERATURE METHANOL SYNTHESIS IN SLURRY PHASE

Reaction performance of catalysis system composed of CuCr/CH 3ONa prepared in our laboratory for the low temperature methanol synthesis in slurry phase was examined The reaction conditions were as follows: temperature, 100~140℃; pressure, 3 54 7 MPa; syngas ratio (H 2/CO) 2/1; and xylene, methanol and liquid paraffin as liquid medium The results show that the optimum reaction conditions are 120℃ and 4 7MPa, and xylene is a better liquid medium CO conversion increases with increasing operation pressure Reaction performance of catalysis system represented by CO conversion was essencially stable during the duration test of 44 hours on stream
