The catalyzed oxidation of 2mercaptoethanol by phthalocyanineiron(Ⅲ), phthalocyaninecobalt(Ⅱ) and both of them being fixed on silicagel in aqueous medium were studied Their catalytic characters were compared with each other and the effects of the reaction condition were discussed The results showed that both of the two catalysts which were fixed on the silicagel have good catalytic activities
