Effect of mineral admixtures on the concrete carbonation resistance

The mineral admixtures can improve the pore structure and interface structure of concrete, can participate in the hydration of cementing materials, improve the density of concrete and the impermeability of concrete that CO2 and water is diffi cult to penetrate concrete. Mineral powder can effectively improve the anti-carbonation of concrete, depth of carbonation in concrete mixed with fl y ash is 2~5 times more than it of concrete mixed with mineral powder. Concrete mixed with fl y ash and mineral powder can reduce the depth of carbonation effectively and improve the anti-carbonation of concrete.
