Study on carbonation performance of concrete in dry and cold plateau areas

Provide technical support for the development of the western region, ensure the quality of concrete engineering, based on rebuilding project in Yushu Qinghai province, carried out studding on carbonation performance of concrete in dry and cold plateau areas. Under the same external environment conditions, fl y ash content, concrete strength grade infl uence on concrete carbonation; Under the same concrete mix, carbon dioxide concentrations, temperature and humidity infl uence on concrete carbonation; Carbonation of concrete case studied in different areas.Results showed that with the increase of fl y ash, reduce of the concrete strength, concrete carbonation depth increases; with the increasing of the temperature, reduce of the relative humidity, concrete carbonation depth increases; effect of environmental temperature on carbonation of concrete is greater than the infl uence of relative humidity on concrete carbonation.
