Study on preparation and application of ultrafine sulphur solid ash

The sulfur solid ash produced by a power plant in Shuozhou, Shanxi, as the research object, is used to prepare ultra-fine sulfur solid ash by two methods, vibratory grinding and steam mill, and the 42.5 cement is prepared by replacing limestone, slag and some clinker with a variety of solid sulfur ash. The results show that the median diameters of ultrafine sulfur fixation ash prepared by the two methods are 5.372 and 4.173 microns respectively, but the particle size distribution and microstructure are quite different. The introduction of sulfur fixation has a certain effect on the physical properties of 42.5 cement: after adding sulfur solid ash, the strength of 42.5 cement decreases obviously. The strength of cement is improved in varying degrees, but the strength decreases with the increase of the amount of cement, and the maximum amount of superfine sulfur solid ash comminuted by steam flow grinding can be reached. 20%.
