The Energy-Based Numerical Analysis of Crack Opening Displacement in Concrete Beam

The crack in the concrete produce because of deformation of wet and dry,chemical shrinkage,and temperature deformation and other reasons before load.Under outside load effect,the cracks produce unceasingly,and expand,which becomes the origin that the concrete destroys.It is necessary therefore calculating crack opening displacement of concrete.According to energy criterion,fictitious crack as well as program,this paper explains the validity of this method by the example and points out the influence of notch depth and elastic modulus to the crack opening displacement.
