Study of Concrete Failure Mechanism in West Trunk Canal of Xinjianga a Certain Key Project

It is a phenomenon that one of key projects' channel concrete board surfaces appears crunchy affecting the normal water channel capacity supply in Xinjiang.According to the erosion mechanism and products morphology of concrete,using electron microscopy observation and testing sulfate volume in the soil.The results show that the sulphate attack causes the cement concrete slab damage at west main channel,channel concrete slab becomes loose,losing strength and carrying capability.
