Analysis on Negative Value of Seepage Pressure Coefficient on Concrete Gravity Dam

Dam foundation seepage pressure coefficient is an important index for evaluation of concrete gravity dam seepage safety. In thispaper,in terms of the abnormal situation of the coefficient of seepage pressure negative after the concrete gravity dam curtain was analyzedthrong qualitative,quantitative,physical causes and the seepage pressure coefficient statistical model added seepage quantity. Using partialleast squares regression analysis shows that the negative cause is mainly due to the better performances of anti-seepage of grouting curtain ofconcrete dam,weak permeability of dam foundation rock and shorter dam operation during the initial stage,the dam foundation seepage hasnot yet reached a stable equilibrium state.
