Study on the Optimal Design of Energy-Saving Operation for Jiamakou Pumping Station

In order to explore the energy-saving operation mode of Jiamakou Pumping Station system,according to the mathematical formula,a mathematical model of energy consumption was derived at the change of the efficiency of the pump and pipe. We analyzed the trend of thepump efficiency,pipe efficiency and energy consumption changing with the water pipeline by simulating the pump operating conditions underparallel water pipe and tube water pipe. Combining with the engineering characteristics of Jiamakou Pumping Station,an operational mode ofthe pump water outlet pipe parallel deliver water was presented in the optimal design study. By numerical simulation calculating,the resultsshow that the pump efficiency and pipe efficiency increase significantly,energy consumption decrease significantly under the operational modeof parallel water pipe,which can realize the energy-saving operation of Jiamakou Pumping Station and provide technical support of theenergy-saving operation and optimal design for pumping station with multi pipeline.
