How does Ideology Guide the Direction of Structural Reform?——Reflections on Social Modernity in China

Zhu Lijia
It is of great significance to contemplate modernity in Chinese society when modern civilization encounters difficulties in reorienting its development and China is at a critical time to promote reform and modernization.China's modernization can only be "socialist modernization" which is guided by socialist ideology with "social justice" as the core value and takes people's democracy as a basic system to pursue. We must adhere to the system of socialist ideology with "justice" as the core value in carrying out "structural reform" of Chinese society, and uphold the mode of civilization that is based on "fair values and fair systems," which represents the orientation in the development of human civilization.
