The Potential Population Crisis in China and Solutions

In the broad sense,China now does not have a population problem,but suffers an acute population crisis.The population crisis is mainly characterized by fewer kids,an aging society and a series of ensuing economic and social crises.In order for China to achieve sustainable development,the author proposes deeply understanding the severity and harmfulness of the population crisis;vigorously adjusting the family planning policy;improving social safety net;accelerating development of old-age services program;and strengthening economic foundation,so as to ease this crisis and minimize the damage it causes.
