The Expansion of Maritime Power During the Early Ming Dynasty and the Reestablishment of the Tributary System

In the tributary system reconstruction early Ming,Ming's sea power played a decisive role.By correcting the Hung-wu's error on the naval forces orientation,Yongle Emperor made the Navy had the ability to delivery and fight in the South and Western ocean,and offshore for the regional countries into the tributary system provides a strong military support.While benefiting from the Navy's ocean-going delivery and combat capability,so that the Ming government controlled the core of tribute trade--issue currency and trade pricing,to ensure government got large gains in the tribute trade.
