Promoting China's Image:Speaking a Language Foreigners Can Understand

China-US "dialogue" needs to be founded on an understanding of public opinions in both countries that is obtained through field survey.The two countries' cultural,political and values differences,characterized by distinct ideologies,hold as the source of opposing standpoints of American public against China's development.In order to improve China's international image in the long run,China needs to give high regard to similar elements in Chinese and American cultures,create dialogue platforms,increase efforts to diversify China's image in media and take the road of public diplomacy featuring "constructive participation".
