Conquest of China:Japan's Strategic Ambition since the Modern Times

Since the modern times,Japan has never abandoned its ambition to conquer China.Throughout this period,Japan consistently adhered to the vision of defeating China and dominating Asia,with examples ranging from the strategic thought of Toyotomi Hideyoshi who dreamed of building a Japanese empire in Asia through military forces,to Ichikawa Shu's "East Asian community" and Matsumura Tsutomu's "West Pacific Strategy," and to the recent provocation by Japan against China concerning the issue of Diaoyu Islands.The way we respond to Japan's ambition determines what kind of country Chinese future generations will live in.
