Under a Global View:China's Strategy for Its Service Economy(1)

The service economy originated from a new industrial revolution in the 1980s,during which period world economy fully transitioned toward service economy.That process can be referred to as a "service revolution." It is a comprehensive revolution ranging from technology and industrial organization,to management and business model,and to operation mechanism and mode of development.As the world enters the era of service economy,the service sector has become the centerpiece among all economic sectors that leads world innovation.If Chinese economy wants to lead the world during this round of globalization,the key is to secure a firm place in world service economy which is still developing at different speeds in different countries.Developing service economy has become the strategic choice of Chinese economy in the new period.
