The Modern Turn of Western Tradition of Critical Historiography
The contemporary development of Western history is the emergence of a number of anti-traditional critical historians. Bausman, Steyr, Brick, Scribe, and others are deeply influenced by the historical crisis and challenged the interpretation of traditional historiography in different fields. They adhere to historical objectivism and historical dialectics, and oppose all false historical explanations. They emphasize the role of the people, and deny that history is created by emperors and cultural elites. By that, they reveal a truth: history is created by the people, and the development of civilization will bring harmony rather than conflict, and thus provide important historical evidence for the containment and prevention of Western expansion.
