Review of the International Meeting of Communist & Workers' Parties in the West

Jian Fan;
Since the end of the Cold War, the international communist movement has fallen into a low ebb. Mired in difficulties, the communist and workers' parties of all countries had tried to cooperate and explored new forms of international unity, one of the most remarkable and influential example was the International Meeting of Communist Workers' Parties beginning in 1999. This paper intends to systematically review and summarize the 18 meetings that have been held, and introduce the basic situation and main contents of the meetings, so as to understand the latest development trends of the international communist movement.
