SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL GEOGRAPHY——ONE BRANCH OF HUMAN GEOGRAPHY

Scientific and technological geography is one branch of human geography,in which science and technology as a special,type of human activity is discussed,and the research work tends to combine the development of science and technology with certain geographical conditions.In this paper,its conditions of development,scientific characteristics,and important influences on the economic constitutions are briefly described,and its content is summarized in eight aspects1.Conditions of science and technology distribution2.Distribution and migration of qualified scientists and technicians3.Science and technology centres4.Regional expressions of combination of science and technology5.Regional differences and regional types of science and technology6.Ecologic benefit and social benefit of science and technology7.Transference of science and technology,and technological market8.Regional system of science and technology
