The development of nuclear magnetic resonance is very fast during the past 50 years. It has become a widely-used tool for analysis and measurement. Because of the advantages of non-invasion, non-destruction and being able to provide rich information, nuclear magnetic resonance is attractive to the researchers of life sciences. The main applications of nuclear magnetic resonance in life sciences are summarized in this article. Nuclear magnetic resonance has been used in many subdivisions of life sciences and shows good application potentials.
