Yu Hong, Mu Shifen Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Beijing. 100085, China Application and Research Center of Dionex China Co. Ltd., Beijing, 100085, China Department of Chemistry, Harbin Normal University, Harbin, 150080, China
A new method for analyzing amino acids by anion-exchange chromatography with integrated pulsed amperometric detection is introduced and discussed in detail. The application of the method is briefly described. Compared with traditional methods, this method can analyze amino acids directly without post-column or pre-column derivatization. The new method is highly sensitive with the detection hmit of 1 pmol. The range of linearity is over three orders of magnitude for most common amino acids.
