Qin Li(Dairy Testing Center of Heilongjiang Reclamation Bureau,Harbin 150078,China)
A method is developed to detect sodium thiocyanate, sodium thiocyanate is extracted by trichloroacetic acid, and reacts with ferric iron to produce a red complex, the absorbance is determined by spectrophotometer, the sodium thiocyanate is determined according to the absorbance curve.Approach is simple and easy to operate, high recovery rate and low cost testing, analysis period is short,so it can be used as a rapid detection method of sodium thiocyanate in milk.
