THE MORPHOLOGICAL STUDY OF THE ACUPOINT AND PROPAGATED SENSATION ALONG CHANNELS IN HUMAN

In order to study recipients in acupoint and the path of propagated sensation along chan nels,60 patients were made point injection therapy on their forearm with radioactive 32P.The results showed that 88.3%(53/60)of the radiograms appeared radioactive thread-shadows which were 3~10mm in breadth and 5~20cm in length,their locations and shapes were gen erally conformed to the classical Sanyin and Sanyang Channels of Hand.Above results re vealed that the acupoint recipients and the paths of propagated sensation were related to the ending and cutaneous branches of the peripheral nervous system.
