Establishment of GOD-POD assay in a minimal way and application to glucose metabolism of 3T3-L1 adipocyte and HepG2 cell in vitro

Objective In vitro, to establish an easy,shortcut, cheap method with GOD-POD assay in a minimal wayto detect glucose. MethodIn order to study the relationship between OD and glucose content, calibration liquid in clinical reagent is used as sample to detect glucose in two minimal ways. One is to add different glucose content in identical volume, another is to add same glucose in different volume .and again, medium containing insulin ,in which 3T3-L1 adipocyte and HepG2 cell was cutured anddetected in that minimal way.Results OD isdirectly proportional to glucose content,but it is almost not affected by reactivevolume.Conclusion GOD-POD assay in a minimal way is an easy,shortcut, cheap method to detect the glucose, and this method can be used not only to detect glucose metabolism of cells, but also to screen drugs associated with glucose metabolism.Thus, it is a good way to be spreaded and utilized.
