The Experimental Study of the Effect of Low Molecular Weight Heparin on Rat Severe Acute Pancreatitis

Objective To study the effect of low molecular weight heparin(LMWH) on the survival rate,serumal nitrogen monoxidum(NO) of rat severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).Methods Wistar rats were randomized into three groups including Sham-operated,SAP model and LMWH group.The survival rate was calculated,and the changes of serumal NO after surgery for 12 h,24 h,48 h,72 h were determined.Data are expressed as mean standard deviation(SD) for continuous variables.The measurement data were compared with F-test and the mortality were analyzed by χ2-test.Results The survival rate of LMWH group was significantly higher than SAP model group,There was significant difference(P0.01);the activity of NO was higher expression in 48h and 72h in the group of LMWH treatment than model group(P0.01).Conclusions LMWH could significantly increased the activity of NO and obviously improve pancreatic microcirculation and restrain inflammation in SAP rats.LMWH maybe a promising strategy opening better SAP treatment options.
