The Related Investigation of Islet Cells Differentiation and Embryonic Body Development

Objective To investigate the relationship between embryonic gestation,embryonic body size and islet cells differentiation in embryonic development. Methods 20 samples collection was conducted in accordance to the principle of informed consent. The weight,parietal-buttocks diameter were measured and the histochemical SABC method was adopted for studying Glugagon expression in islet cells of the developing embryo. Results About 9 weeks pregnancy,embryonic body weight was 2.89±0.12 g,parietal-buttocks diameter being 30.0±2.8 mm approximately,and the pancreatic duct epithelial cells were seen to being differentiate to islet cells with endocrine function. Conclusion The development embryo at 9 weeks gestation,with parietal-buttocks diameter 30 mm and the weight being about 2.89 g,the islet cells begin to differentiate from the pancreatic duct epithelial cells.
