Objective To investigate the effects of tofu on the ability of learning and memory in aging model mice. Methods Total 30 mice were randomly divided into control group, model group and large, medium and small dose of the tofu groups. The aging model of mice was established by subcutaneous injection with D-galactose.The large, medium and small dose of the tofu groups were given by feeding with different dose of the tofu for five weeks, and then the ability of memory was examined by the Morris water maze. The morphological changes were observed by HE staining. Results Compared with the control group, the ability of learning and memory was decreased in the model group(P0.05);The number of crossing platform of large dose of the tofu group was increased significantly as compared with model group(P0.05).But the medium and small dose of the tofu groups were not changed significantly. Conclusion The large dose of the tofu has some effects of improving the learning memory in aging model of mice induced by D-glactose.
