Objective This survey was made to observe the inhibition effects of succinylcholine fasciculation following pretreatment with low dose cisatracurium on the different time. Methods A total of 60female patients were divided into 6groups:0.9%NaCl(AC),0.005mg/kg atracurium(Group A1),0.01mg/kg atracurium(Group A2) pretreated 3minutes before 1.5mg/Kg succinylcholine intravenous injection,0.9%NaCl(Group BC),0.005mg/kg atracurium(Group B1),0.01mg/kg atracurium(Group B2)pretreated 4minutes before 1.5mg/Kg succinylcholine intravenous injection.Neuromuscular monitor was used to evaluate the fasciculations, muscular blocking effects and onsettime were observed. Results Muscle fasciculations were inhibitied among Group 0.005mg/Kg 4 minute, 0.01mg/Kg 3minute,0.01mg/Kg 4minute(P0.01).Conclusion Pretreatment with cisatracurium 0.005mg/Kg 4minutes,0.01mg/Kg 3minutes and 4minutes were effective to prevent muscular fasciculation following succinylcholine injection.
