Retrospective Survey on Detected Results of 5186 Vaginal Secretion Samples by Vaginitis Multitest Kit

Objective This retrospective survey was made to investigate and analyze the epidemic characteristics of bacterial vaginosis(BV),candidal vaginitis(VC),trichomonas vaginitis(TV)and dysbacteriosis in local gynecology outpatients and their correlations with dysbacteria,in order to guide clinic treatments.Methods The vaginitis multitest kit was performed on 5186 vaginitis suspects to detect hydrogen peroxide,leukocyte esterase,neuraminidase,proline aminopeptidase,N-acetyl-D-glucosaminidase and pH value in vaginal secretion.The correlation between BV,VC,TV and dysbacteria was also analyzed.Results In all samples,positive rate of vagina dysbacteriosis was 68.6%(3559/5186),BV was 15.3%7(794/5186),VC was 9.2%(477/5186),and TV was 2.4%(124/5186).Among patients with dysbacteria,the detection rate of BV,VC and TV were 100%,85.1% and 91.9%,respectively.Conclusion The results showed that among vaginitis patients in the region,vagina dysbacteriosis was common,BV and VC were secondary,TV is most rare.There were high correlation between BV,VC,TV with vagina dysbacteria.
