parent plants were selected and 25 cross combinations were conducted among R. chinensis,R.rugosa and R.spp in the fields and green-house.The results indicated that some cultivars aborted in two to six weeks after pollinating ,the ratio of fruit setting increased after being treated by GA,and selecting suitable female parent could increase fruit setting.Through the experiment, the aborted time has been known clearly suitable, which made a basis to conquer incompatibility and embryo culture. At the same time ,the compatibility of crosses was confirmed and it made an effective attempt to improve the rate of hybrid breeding of R.chinensis.
