AN ANALYSIS OF URBAN LANDSCAPE PATTERN AND GREEN SPACES SYSTEM STRUCTURE:A CASE STUDY OF LIAOCHENG

In this paper,landscape pattern and green spaces system structure in the Liaocheng city were analyzed by using the high-resolution data of IKONOS satellite remote sensing image,Geography information systems and the fundamentals of landscape ecology.The results showed that the landscape of city was distinct,forming a wa- ter-in-city and city-in-water pattern,the city was consisted of four landscape elements:builds,roads, green spaces and water;The green patches and green corridors constitute the green spaces system,the green pat- ches was the main part and distributed randomly in the city,the area of green spaces took up 33.71% of the cit- y.At the end,some suggestions are put forward.
