Effect of raw fish bile on the isolated toad heart function

Objective: To investigate the effect of raw fish bile solution on isolated toad heart function.Methods: The isolated hearts were prepared with Straub′s method,1 ml raw fish bile was diluted into 1∶20,1∶40,1∶80,1∶160.Myocardial contraction force and heart rate was recorded with BL-410 intelligence biological system.Results: The raw fish bile of different density can reduce the toad heart rate(P0.01).Heart almost stopped when it is 1∶20.Simultaneously,the raw fish bile can reduce the myocardial contraction force when it is diluted less then 1∶40(P0.05).Conclusion: Raw fish bile have an inhibitory effect on the toad heart.
