Analysis on 263 cases of adverse drug reactions in the women and children's hospital

Objective:To understand the newest features and rule of adverse drug reactions(ADR)in the women and children's hospital.Methods:Two hundred and sixty three reported cases of ADR from 2012 to 2014were collected and statistically analyzed in the aspects of the reporter,including patients' gender and age,ADR drug type causing ADR,administration route,ADR involved organ or system and clinical manifestations.Results:Among 263 cases of ADR reports,the individuals aged 1~6years old(preschool children)had the highest incidence rate of ADR,accounting for 33.84%;medications induced ADR were mainly antibiotic drugs,accounting for 54.37%;intravenous drug administration was the main route of drugs causing ADR,accounting for 85.93%;the main damages in ADR reports were skin damage,followed by gastrointestinal injury.Conclusion:Most attention should be paid to monitoring women and children's adverse drug reactions in order to reduce the occurrence of ADR.
