Research of biomechanical model of the knee joint for estimation of forces

Objective:To investigate the changes of knee joint bearing load in the lower limb movement,and to provide the model and data base for physical training and medical treatment.Methods:Under the condition of weight load,static and double-foot support,the load conditions of knee joint was analyzed and the biomechanical model of it was established on Geostatics.And the model was calculated by MATLAB software programming.Results:The change in regulation was obtained and peak value of how heavy the tibiofemoral joint was contact by flexion angle of knee and inclination angle of leg.Conclusion:With the increasing of flexion angle,the knee support force first increased and then decreased.It reached the peak value when flexion angle get to 90°.And the knee support force decreased with the increase of inclination angle.The peak of each knee support force is nearly 6 times that of body weight.
