Recent Advances in the Effect of Fatty Acid Positional Distribution on Nutrition and Metabolism

Usual fat includes 80 90 percents of Triacyglyceral,which is made of glycerol and fatty acids esterified in the chain of glycerol.The research result shows that the digestibility and absorption of lipids varied with it's Stereospecific Number(SN),especially to LCT.The fatty acids's position also affects it's metabolism in the tissue.This article reviews how the fatty acid positional distribution affects it's nutrition and metaboism
