Research on the Method to Establish the Whole Bus Finite Element Model and Dynamic Analysis

According to the increasingly requests to the bus security, riding comfort and travel stable aspect, this paper embarked from analysis to the whole bus structure dynamic performance, discussed the method to establish the whole bus finite element model in the base of existing bus finite element modeling technology. The stage to establish finite element model has many characteristics: it is most essential and its influence is most direct, it also expends the longest time. The author divided the whole bus into two major parts and established the model separately and carried on the effective simulation to connection between the parts after having turned the CAD geometry models to finite element models. The whole bus finite element model has been completed. To get the bus's natural frequency and vibration shape, the modal analysis was also established.
