The Analysis of Actuality and Improvement Actions of Underrun Guard of Truck

While there are continuous improvements of highway net and dramatic increases in car fleet, in order to reduce and mitigate serious accidents caused by car rear-ended large truck, the article had investigated and analyzed the installation of underrun guard and the implementation of corresponding law. The results indicated that application is generally poor, and there are some problems in whether preventing drilling or absorbing collision energy. On this basis, it made the main idea and four specific actions of researching and improving underrun guard.
