Design and Research of Hydro-Mechanical and Electric Transmission System for Passenger Car

Based on the hydro-mechanical transmission(HMT), using small power motor as the power source, a hydro-mechanical and electric transmission system(HMET) is designed for passenger cars. Based on analyzing the working modes of the system in the process of driving, the matching and parameter calculation of the power system for the parameters of a certain type of vehicle model are carried out. The whole vehicle simulation model is set up in MATLAB/Simulink, and the simulation results are analyzed and the rationality of the parameter design is verified. The system not only makes full use of the advantages of hydraulic transmission speed and high mechanical transmission efficiency, but also makes use of electricity to complement the energy and drive the car starting. And the electric drive hydraulic system(ET) can be used to supplement energy in car starting and driving.
