Analysis of Gear Vibration Characteristics Based on Virtual Prototype Technology

A meshing helical gear is taken as the object of study. The mechanism of vibration and the type of vibration are analyzed. The dynamic model of gear transmission is established, and the influence of meshing stiffness on the vibration of gear transmission is studied. Based on virtual prototype technology, the parameters of the helical gear 3D model are established by using ADAMS software. Vibration of gear transmission process is simulated and analyzed, and the positive correlation between meshing stiffness and vibration degree of the gear is verified. The optimal rotational speed in gear transmission process is proposed and proved. This paper provides a theoretical basis for gear design and gear fault analysis.
