The study on distance-dependent models of individual tree in Pinus massoniana plantation

On the basis of 23 fixed sample plot materials in Pinus massoniana plantation, Hegyi's simple competition index was used as competition target, the number of competitor was determined according to age class and density class and the models were established with method of regression analysis. The analysis of precision made clear that the rate fitting precision is 80%~96% and the state forecast average precision is over 97% for individual tree. The forecast precisions of stand basal area is over 95%.It made known that the models have higher forecast precision and better use results. This paper suggests to study and use extensively.
