Study on growth regularity and technology of density control of Handeliodendron bodinieri transplant stock using the bud seedling

Sequence sample cluster analysis is used to divide the height growth process of the annul Handeliodendron bodinieri transplant stock using the bud seedling. The results indicated that the height growth process of transplant stock can be divided into four stages: survival stage(March 11-April 10),early growth stage(April 11-July 10),rapid growth stage(July 11-August 31) and woody stage(September 1-October 20).Among all growth stages,the continuous time of early growth stage is the longest with 91 days.The results of density test indicated the reasonable density of Handeliodendron bodinieri annual seedlings were 60 per square meter.According to the density,the average height of annual seedling reached 54.7 centimeter,the average caliper reached 0.913 centimeter,with 29 thousand qualified seedling per 667 square meter.According to the growth characteristics of annual seedlings in different stages,some measures on cultivation of Handeliodendron bodinieri seedlings were suggested.
