Rapid Detection of Total Bacteria Number by Observing Directly on Filter

Rapid detection of total bacteria number is very important in quality control.Now,there are many rapid detection methods of total bacteria number,such as microclony method,bioelectrical impedance method and so on,besides the plate counting method.But these methods need more time or higher cost.So we presented a new method,observing directly on the filter without germculture,it included four steps,filtration,coloration,observation and calculation.Based on the point of distributing,a new formula was put forward other than former formula,so it improved the detection precision.The results reveal that there are no significant differences between the new method and the plate counting method(t=0.847,P=0.4360.05),and it is a lower cost and faster detection method of total bacteria number.
