Dynamical Models and Methods during the Studying of Epilepsy

We review domestic and abroad research progresses of epilepsy by nonlinear dynamical theory and method,which include dynamical interpretation of epileptic pathogenesis,analysis of dynamical characteristic quantity of EEG signals during interictal and ictal stage,foundation of prediction mechanism and system.Simultaneously,the main research results of our work team recently are introduced.These results lead to discover some new spatiotemporal dynamic transitions during the course of epileptic seizure.Consequently,we propose some problems and our advanced tentative plan to the dynamical study of model and method for epilepsy.
