An Optimized Nonlinear Interpolation Algorithm for Multi-slice Spiral CT

As an important step in the reconstructions,different coplanar interpolation method leads to different reconstruction quality.In this paper,a comparison between 360°and 180° has been done for single-slice and multi-slice helical CT respectively.We then introduced a nonlinear quadratic fitting method,optimization quadratic approximation algorithm has been proposed based on analysis and comparison of the fitting method.Simulation results have proven that the proposed method improves the slice sensitivity and has good performance on artifact suppression.
