Ideological Education of Average Students in College

? In recent years,the percentage of average students is increasing for various reasons.This has brought about many new problems to the ideological education of college students.To strengthen the ideological education of this section of students,therefore,becomes an important task in the ideological education among college students.First,profoundly understanding the average students is the premise of carrying out ideological education.By their daily behaviors,these students can be divided into five types:studying type,pragmatic type,interest-dominated type,liberal type and blind-follower type.Second,the ideological educators should have an upright recognition of ideology and improve their working methods on three aspects.The basic ways of efficiently carrying out ideological education of average students include:instill them with positive ideology;treating them discriminatively;setting examples of average students who turned to be best ones;having perseverance in conducting ideological education;strict disciplining;creating a good educational environment. 〔
