Simulation of transmission path and study on structural vibrations of hydropower house

This paper presents a study of structural vibration model of hydropower house with fluid-solid interaction of unsteady turbulence,overall concrete structure and hydroelectric generation sets.A fully-coupled vibration model was developed for Ludin hydropower house,and the transmission of fluid-induced pressure fluctuation was simulated.A time-integration scheme was used for the fluid and solid zones,and fluid-solid coupling was calculated by using alternative iteration.The result shows that fluid pressure fluctuations caused by static and dynamic disturbance have significant impact on structural vibrations,and that the most severe vibrations occur at the position of stay ring.Thus this work provides a useful approach to reveal vibration mechanism of hydropower house.
