Catalytic Performance of Indium Supported Oxide Catalysts for Methanol Steam Reforming

With polyethylene glycol used as the dispersing agent,supported indium oxide catalysts were synthesized by incipient-wetness impregnation method,and characterized via X-ray diffraction(XRD),BET specific surface area and H_2 temperature program reduction(H_2-TPR)technologies.The catalytic performance of the synthesized catalysts was evaluated by methanol steam reforming.The results indicate that the catalytic performance is depended on the supports and indium content.With the same indium content,indium loaded FeO_x catalyst exhibits the optimal methanol conversion and the selectivity of H_2 and CO_2,and the optimal indium content is 3.0%.
