Study On Mass Transfer Of The Extraction Of Citric Acia

This paper studied the mass transfer of extraction of citric acid from the pure citric acid agueous solutiion and fermentation broth by trioctylamine (TOA). The effectS of droplet diameter, dimensionless column height and concetration of TOA which related to the mass transfer coefficient were investigated. The mass transfer model for free rising droplets was esteblished and the experimental results were correlated. The correlation agreed well with the experimental data. citric acid Extraction Mass
