Detection of Water Quality in the Inshore Fishery Area of Maoming

TheinshorefisheryareaofMaomingcityhasbeenencounteredmoreandmoreseriouspollution,whichmakestheenvironmentalqualityoffisheryareadropobviouslyinrecentyears.SomemonitoringhasbeendonefortheseawaterfisheryfunctiondistrictintheShuidonggulfofMaomingcity.Someappraisalsmethodsaboutindividualindexappraisal,whichcomposedofindexappraisalandeutrophicationappraisalofwaterbody,havebeenadoptedheretoappraisetheenvironmentalindexincludingCOD,BOD5,DO,cyanide,inorganicnitrogen,inorganicphosphorus,oil,totalchromiumandsulfideetc..Theresultshowsthat,exceptfortotalchromiumandBOD5indexes,otherindexeshavealreadygonebeyondthefirstkindofnationalseawaterstandard,ofwhichcyanide,inorganicphosphorus(DIP),inorganicnitrogen(DIN),oil,andsulphidehaveoversteppedthesecondkindofnationalseawaterstandard,CODhasoversteppedthirdstandard.Inaddition,thewaterbodyhasalreadybeeneutrophicated;itsenvironmentalqualityreachesmiddledegreepollution;andtheascendanttrendofpollutionindexisveryobvious.SotheprospectofseawaterfisheryfunctiondistrictinShuidongGulfofMaomingisnotoptimistic.
