Dynamic crane deployment in container storage yard

A non-linear multi-objective programming model is constructed to solve the problem of the dynamic crane deployment by minimum function with time of uncompleted workloads and wasted time of workloads, from which a conclusion is drawn by Lingo software that the method is proved to be helpful for the improvement of efficiency of the middle and small type container terminals but not for the yard of large scale because of the NP-hard problem that can be solved by some genetic algorithms.
